Gutliman of India is dedicated to transforming discarded mango seeds into thriving green forests. By connecting people, communities, schools, farmers, and organizations, we reduce organic waste, restore biodiversity, and inspire environmental responsibility through collective action.

Our vision is to create a nationwide movement where every discarded mango seed becomes a tree. We aim to restore degraded landscapes, increase green cover, empower local communities, and build a sustainable ecosystem that benefits both people and the planet for generations to come.
About Gutli Mission
Gutliman of India is a people-driven environmental initiative committed to giving a second life to mango seeds. Instead of allowing millions of seeds to become waste, we collect, nurture, and grow them into healthy saplings that are planted across villages, schools, institutions, highways, and community spaces.
Working alongside volunteers, educational institutions, corporate partners, and local communities, our mission is simple—turn waste into forests while creating lasting environmental and social impact.

Tree Ka Langar is a nationwide people’s movement founded by Jasmit Singh Arora – Gutliman of India, inspired by the spirit of Langar—where nourishment is shared freely with everyone. Our mission is to make plants as accessible as food, ensuring that every individual and community has the opportunity to grow a greener, healthier future. We believe that every home, school, office, temple, mosque, gurudwara, church, club, and public space should have easy access to plants that enrich lives, restore biodiversity, and protect the environment.

Meet Gutliman of India
“Gutli Man of India” (Jasmit Singh Arora) is an environmentalist and entrepreneur on a mission to plant 20 crore trees to fight climate change and empower farmers. He collects discarded mango seeds (gutlis), transforms them into healthy saplings, and donates them freely to struggling farmers.
Through his initiative, the Carbon Protection Force, he encourages citizens across India to consume their mangoes, clean and dry the seeds, and mail them to his Kolkata center to be grafted and planted. This revolution helps convert low-yield crop areas into profitable fruit-bearing orchards that require less water, lock carbon to generate carbon credits, and create dependable long-term income for thousands of farmers.
Why Mango Trees ?
Mango trees are more than just fruit-bearing plants—they are long-term assets that support both the environment and rural livelihoods. A single mango tree can live and produce fruit for several decades, providing farmers with a reliable source of seasonal income year after year. Unlike many short-duration crops that require significant investments in water, fertilizers, and repeated cultivation, mango trees become increasingly productive as they mature while requiring comparatively lower maintenance. Their deep root systems help improve soil health, reduce erosion, and increase the land’s ability to retain moisture.
